AGENCY INFORMATION
 Percy Hoek, founder of
the agency in 1935, began his insurance career as a one man office. His
business expanded steadily and now includes a professional staff of ten
licensed producers, plus our office staff of four.
Percy Hoek, Inc. serves the insurance needs of thousands of families
and businesses in the Suffolk County and Nassau area.
Our office building on the south side of Sayville's quaint tree lined Main Street houses a state of the
art computerized system with remote file storage backup. Our
information records as well as rating information are stored on
computers enabling us to make rapid comparisons of competing
insurance companies.
Our system provides us with instant policy and customer information
utilized for electronically reporting claims, changing converges and
quoting premiums. These cost effective methods help to reduce the cost
of insurance and to communicate directly with our major companies.

Insurance coverage is tailored to your needs with a personal touch.
Coastal property near shores, bays, and oceans need special coverage
and experienced agents. Barrier Island, Long Island, Fire Island and waterfront and
coastal are areas property owners may have difficulty obtaining and
keeping insurance coverage's. Long Island is our home area; we
have some solutions to your local insurance needs. We are not for
everyone. If you want to talk to a machine in Indiana or leave voice mail
after listening to a long recorded message during business hours we are
not for you! We are familiar with this region and its insurance needs.
Some of the coverage?s we
offer are not available in all states. We occasionally use
specialty companies which are not licensed in New York State. When this is
done, coverage is placed through specially licensed wholesalers who
have been licensed to do so by New York State Insurance Department and
customers are advised of each policy involved.
